Cd players work without use of volume controls coax cables hook up's and then by setting reciever to proper button so sound can come out
you might have had a power surge that fried your system but lets look at easy stuff first
fuses
lines in properly and connected
test on an old sterio with speaker hook ups and test your speakers by plugging in to old beat box
make sure wires are not scorched
turn on receiver fm see if speakers work change channels to sterio and mono settings if speakers start to work on sterio or mono setting chances are power surge blew out your system
hope this worked

Onkyo cd changer skips when volume is increased

Try to move the cd changer away from the speakers. Any strong vibrations transferred to the cd changer from the speakers may cause this kind of problems.

How to connect my phillip cd player to speakers

It depends on whether the player has an Audio output because only then you will be able to connect the output to a speaker .
However if there is only an audio output - composite signal- then you will need a power amplifier to connect the speakers while the CD player is coupled to the power amplifier.

Unless the CD has DSP encoded sound, you will only get the usual CD stereo (2 speaker) sound, unless your receiver is able to apply DSP FX to a stereo source.

I just bought some speakers and a receiver, cd player no instructions, how do i connect it myself

- Use a cinch- cable (red&white) to connect the cd player to the input (often called CD or AUX) of the receiver
- Use standard speaker cable (two copper wires per wire) to connect each speaker to one speaker-output on the receiver
- Plug in the power cables
- Select the right input (or source) on the receiver
- Voila! Press play on the cd player and sound should come out!

I don't know how to connect my sony cd changer to

Make a note of Model numbers for your cd changer and receiver.

Go to www.sony.com

Click product support at top of site. Look carefully as the lettering is very small.

Will probable have to enter model numbers to get specific information for each item.

Noise coming out of speakers connected to Denon AVR 1908

Check for nearby wireless devices and move them away. -If the audio output from the source device (i.e. DVD, CD player) is digital (i.e. PCM, DTS or Dolby Digital) you're on your own. I'd be willing to bet the output is analog (red and white RCA), because the "beeps" and "exploding sounds" you describe seem like it could be caused by interference. Try replacing the cables. Otherwise the issue is probably with your receiver.
