Question about T-Mobile Wing™ Smartphone

Open Question

I just bought a used tmobile smart phone, reset everything to factory settings (hard reset), but still have the same issue: the camera is upside down! The screen shows the way it should (the settings tabs are all properly located & all that), but the image is upside down. Rotating the camera rotates the image appropriately, resulting in it remaining upside down. Any ideas? Anyone? Note: I already tried to upgrade to windows mobile 6.5 and a new ruu & still have the same issue.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Windows Mobile 6 Won't Boot

bigsphinx, I too am having the exact same problem on both my phone and my wife's too, about once a month it just locks up then after a soft reset it just gets stuck on the green screen. I called support and they said I just have to do a hard reset, which loses everything :(

So for now I always backup (using PIMBackup) to my SD card for the next time it happens.

SOURCE: my tmobile dash keeps going back to the home screen

Hi jamari140,

A few questions to get a better idea of what this might be:

1) Are there any applications that open successfully?
2) Which keys/buttons are you pressing to enter these apps?
3) Have you been experiencing any issues with the keyboard (incorrect key sequences or letters, etc.)?

Please respond to the above and we'll dive a little deeper into what's going on here.

SOURCE: my phone will not turn on weird stuff !

Turn off phone, remove Media STORAGE card, not the SIM card.  Reboot phone without storage card and it should go to home screen.  Then replace STORAGE card and enjoy! :o)

If hard resetting and restoring it doesn't work you have a broken LCD screen. There is an phone repair website that shows you how to replace the screen yourself.

go into the settings and make sure it is set up for the Tmobile network. You could just default to factory settings and try that.

Why does my phone take pictures upside down?

most Samsung phones have the ability to change the image orientation whilst camera is active. Turn on your camera as if you was going to take a picture. With the camera image on screen locate the up/down keys on the side of your phone (also used as volume control) using up/down buttons you will find that one button rotates image and the other inverts the image (back to front, like mirror image). This normally solves this issue on Samsungs but if this doesnt solve it (which I expect it will) there is a possibilty of the phone being faulty and may need factory reset? Hope that helps?
