For that you need to enter in windows with safe mode built in administrator account. When you power up the computer press F8 key 5 to 6 times then you can see safe mode and other menu enter in safe mode. With default administrator account. Then go to start menu in the white line of search type "regedit" without "" then press enter . Then locate the below key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList In the left pane, look for the S-1-5..... folder (SID key) with the long number that has .bak at the end of the numbers.
NOTE: A) In the right pane, look at the ProfileImagePath to verify that this is the user account profile that has the error. B) You may have another S-1-5..... folder (SID key) above it with the exact same number without the .bak at the end of it. In the left pane, right click on the first (top) S-1-5..... folder (SID key) that does not have .bak at the end of the numbers and click Rename. Then close regedit and restart computer then check. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

User Profile Service failed the logon error message

The User Profile Service failed the logon.
User profile cannot be loaded is a message you sometimes get in Vista or Windows 7. Many suggest editing the registry but for novice users that can be dangerous. Here is an alternative solution.
Logon in safe mode.
  • Restart your computer and log into safe mode: As your computer is rebooting, press F8 Repeatedly after your POST screen. If you get the OS screen, you need to start over.
  • Choose safe mode with networking
  • Open internet explorer and copy and paste this site into the address bar:
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/fix-the-user-profile-service-failed-the-logon-user-profile-cannot-be-loaded
  • Click on Microsoft Fixit which is down the page

If this resolves your issue, 4 thumbs would be appreciated.

Asus k53u accepts password then comes up the user profile service service failed the logon user profile cannot be loaded How can I get round tis problem ?

Start in Safe Mode and then do a system restore back to a date when it was ok. If that fixes it, immediately create a new restore point and name it Profile OK. (Just in case you get it again) This fault has been occurring for months now and usually after an MS critical update! Good backup strategy is paramount.

This is a simple fix that can be done in a few minutes or less. It is a problem with either an update from MSFT that had gone awry or an attack from a virus... Anyhow the steps to take are relatively simple just follow along.

CAN'T LOGON ....SAYING .....THE USER PROFILE SERVICE service failed the logon .user profile cannot be loaded ...never had problem before ...normally type in password and it loads ..

this may be a corrupted file for taht particular user thats causing the problem why cant you try opening the other user profiles or if you cant access that too then try turning on your pc and when the list of user profiles appear press ctrl+alt+delete key in and order but you should keep allthree keys down like how you would keep the shift button down while typing an upper case....now when you press all three down a small dialogue box will appear requesting username and password in the username box type administrator and click login no password required after it logs in create a new profile from the control panel but don't use this user profile again because if this gets corrupted then you would have to format your computer.....formating it will delete all the data stored on your pc.....
