Same problem with JVC, model # AV27F577 using Comcast, not satellite... also use Comcast for Internet, nothing else hooked up to TV... occurs dozens of times per day

I have a JVC tv with the same error. A couple years ago I had the problem after connecting it to a dlink digital media center. Eventually I gave up and took them apart.

This year I have an xbox using XBMC playing videos to the tv, and i've started to get the error message.

I have a JVC tv (not flatscreen) with the same error. A couple years ago I had the problem after connecting it to a dlink digital media center. Eventually I gave up and took them apart.

I have a few things hooked up to it. I have an rca switch box to switch between a dvd player, the Wii, the xbox.

I called JVC and the guy couldnt find an answer... this is CLEARLY a JVC glitch and not a satellite or cable box problem... its not a coincidence that all these tv's were issued in 2006 and the same 27f557 or 32f577 models... JVC will produce a program or a recall if they get enough compliants!!! AGAIN, call JVC and lets get this **** fixed!!!

Does it look like the error is coming from the satellite box or the TV?

You may have to disconnect the box and run the TV using its internal tuner, or by plugging a DVD player or VCR into it to test run it for a while.

If the TV runs for a day without the error message showing up, your satellite box is the culprit. Check prices, it might be cheaper to replace than to repair.

I have a Nikon Coolpix 7900 camera I purchased used. It came without the proper USB cord, so I purchased one separately. When I attached the camera to the USB port of my computer (and I've tried...

I'm afraid that USB port has been damaged and is drawing excessive current causing the error message. You are at least fortunate in that your computers' ports are protected since the camera could have otherwise caused damage. Using a basic multimeter one could probably measure across the pins 1 & 4 to determine if the camera's input is shorted; it should in no case measure less than 5-6 Ohms regardless of lead polarity. The current capability of a USB port varies by version but is between 500 & 900 Milliamperes.

My USB port power error message

This happens when anything draws over 500mA, of current, if it was working OK, before, and is working now but displays that message, or not working, well in any case it seems to have gone faulty, and somehow, is now drawing more current drain, the USB port can supply. It may have been spiked too.from all the plug/unplug especially if the safely remove hardware is not used.

Error code- print system failure code 0xc18a0501

Solution posted here is straight off the HP support site and didn't work for me. However, elsewhere in this forum is something that did!
1. Power down the printer (use on/off button) and remove power cable. Wait 2 minutes.
2. Hold down Help and OK buttons together while plugging in the power cable.
3. I held the buttons for around 5 seconds and when I released them, the printer seemed to go back to a hard reset - all sorted!
Hope this helps!
