A continuous beep on startup indicates a problem with the videocard. Usually this indicates it is not getting enough voltage. Possibly a cable is not plugged in.

Continuous beeping

Hello Julie, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!

I see that your Frigidaire refrigerator has no electronic display and is continuously beeping. Typically, this may be a warning sign of a possible malfunction or an unsafe, interior temperature. To silence the beeping, you can depress the ALARM OFF button. However, if you have already done this, try once again unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker. It is suggested to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your refrigerator. If the alarm continues, it could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the temperature control/board or wiring failure. I would recommend connecting with a professional appliance tech for a clear-cut diagnosis.

Hello,

Sounds like you have a bad door switch. Depending on the age of the fridge, it might still be under warranty. If it's not, then you might be able to access the door switch yourself and pull it out & replace it.

Good luck......

Acer Aspire One continuous beeping at power on, until Windows screen comes on

Need to check the BIOS beep codes but I'm fairly sure that continuous beeping on boot is a display adaptor card issue. If you don't see anything on the screen until that point it may be something is set wrongly for the display within BIOS and it can't sort it out until Windows takes control of the system.

All the connections work the ps3 comes on but then goes black

You may have messed up the Screen-Settings, to solve this try this.

Step 1: Turn off the PLAYSTATION 3 by holding the Power button on the front of the unit till the Power light is red.

Step 2:
  1. Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, meaning the PLAYSTATION 3 is powering on.
  2. Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep, indicating the video reset.
  3. Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a third beep and the system will power off (Power light is red).

Step 3:
  1. Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, again for the PLAYSTATION 3 to power on.
  2. Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep for video reset.
  3. Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a quick double beep. At that point release the Power button. If you succeeded in activating Safe Mode, you will see a message on the screen saying, "Connect the controller using a USB cable and then press the PS button."
  4. Connect a USB cable to the controller and the PLAYSTATION 3 and press the PS button to enter Safe Mode.
  5. Then you will see the Safe Mode menu.

Step 4
: We recommending performing the safe mode options in the following order until one of the options works for you. If one of the options work, do not continue onto the other options.
  1. Restore Default Settings
  2. Restore File System
  3. Rebuild Database
  4. Restore PS3 System (This will wipe your harddrive, so remember to backup savegames.)
