Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

My sansa mp3 player is getting hot too hot from back side when hook to desktop of the charge it , is some thing wrong?

HI. This is a strong indication of a defective battery or micro board. I suspect that the culprit will be the battery, itself. Have it replaced asap. This is not normal at all.


  • NOTE_ If the battery cannot be removed; Take the unit to the location where it was purchased so that it can be exchanged for a new unit. It is defective. The unit should not generate abnormal heat when charging.

Assuming the computer puts out enough juice, yes. Not all USB ports do.

Plug it in, and the Sansa should say "Charging" if it is charging. If it doesn't, try a different USB port if possible. If your computer has ports on the front/side and on the back, the back ones are more likely to put out sufficient power.

Can't turn on sansa player


try pushing the power botton on for ten seconds and then try or hook it back up to you computer for about 30 min and try again .... your battery might not be holding a charge (you might need a new battery)

One day I got in trouble my dad took it away. Once I get it back a week or two later I put it on my moms laptop to charge but no computers are detecting the device or it wont charge. Can you help me to fix...


first off check the cable your using it might have gotten broken then check the mp3 player and see if theres anything blocking or wrong with the mp3 players charging port

getting warm is normal I've never seen one get HOT, you can pull out the battery from these players very easey by removing 4 screws from the back of the player take it out for a minute and this should reset the player, if not you may need a new battery these are on Amazon for short money.
