Not connecting to google server. Even there is wifi connection.

There is a difference between establishing a Wi-Fi connection, than the connection to your internet. Although you see a connection with your Wi-Fi, your Wi-Fi is just like a cordless phone connection. You remember those old rotary phones you would have to charge on the charger/ receiver (Which is connected to the phone cord outlet on located in the wall). Just as how WiFi works, The range is limited. Just because you have no problems with your WI-Fi connection, you may not have an internet connection on which it may have something to do with your ISP (Internet Service Provider). The best way to find if you are communicating out side your home network, Open the "COMMAND PROMPT" Type ; ping google.com (press Enter)

If you are communicating out side your home network you should get results like this displayed below;

Pinging google.com [216.58.216.46] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 216.58.216.46: bytes=32 time=39ms TTL=52
Reply from 216.58.216.46: bytes=32 time=40ms TTL=52
Reply from 216.58.216.46: bytes=32 time=39ms TTL=52
Reply from 216.58.216.46: bytes=32 time=39ms TTL=52
Ping statistics for 216.58.216.46:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 39ms, Maximum = 40ms, Average = 39ms

If you're not communicating out side your home network; it will display.

Ping request could not find host google.com. Please check the name and try again.

Wi-Fi is to connect your devices to the Gateway (Wi-Fi Router/Modem) which your gateway provides the connection to your internet. You are not having problems with your Wi-Fi, you're having problems communicating outside your home network. When this occurs, unplug your Gateway (Modem/Router) and check to see if it restores your connection. If this does not work, call your ISP to check for outages. Other situations is not paying your internet bill which may have caused your ISP to disconnect your service.

Connect motorola modemsbSB6121 to Belink N600 wireless router with out losing internet signal

Step one turn on PC directly connected to ModemsbSB6121 without Wi FI router being involved.
Step two go to Command prompt type in ipconfig (press enter)
Step three note IP address of default gateway and ip address issued to P.C.
Step four type in default gateway address into browser and log into Modem.
Step five look for DHCP Server and allocate IP addresses from at least 50 for example 192.168.0.50 starting ip lease ending ip lease 192.168.0.254
Step six connect Wi Router to P.C. via ethernet cable only - remove ModemSB6121
Step Seven shutdown and restart p.c
Step Eight go to Command prompt type in ipconfig (press enter)
Step Nine note IP address of default gateway and ip address issued to P.C.
Step Ten type in default gateway address into browser and log into Wi Fi Router
Step Eleven Change IP address on Router to 2 as example 192.168.0.2. (it has to match in that modem device would have been 192,168.0.1)
(if it was 10.0.0.1 make wi fi 10.0.0.2 make sure subnet mask is the same like 255.255.255.0)
Step twelve Change DHCP Server to off
Step Thirteen may need to set default gateway to MODEM IP address for example 192.168.0.1
Step Fourteen plug modem router into Wi Fi router may need to plug into WAN port on WI FI router .
Step Fifteen shutdown and Restart Computer
Step Sixteen go to Command prompt type in ipconfig (press enter)
Step Seventeen type in PING 192.168.0.1 (if this is modem IP address and default gateway IP addess)
All this above is to avoid IP address conflicts or mismatching
Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0
either it uses 192.168.0.1 or it uses 10.0.0.1 make sure Wi FI router is set to different address to Modem Router.
I suspect either a clash occurs or your P.C gets a different IP range from ther WI FI DHCP server.
Happy troubleshooting !

Annoying Wireless network connection problems!

Try changing the channel number in the router for the Wi FI add 3 to the minimum channel number.
It is possible you have a neighbour with wi fi and by adding three to the channel number you give some space separation to allow more bandwidth on the WI FI channel.
when this slow down occurs ping the router address (default gateway ip) and see if ping is quick. This will eliminate WI FI as slow point. Try using tracert instead of ping to see if bottlenecks occur in network or internet.

How to connect to the wifi with 3g iphone

Hello Jane,

When using a Wi-Fi network with your iPhone, you may occasionally encounter the following issues,Unable to locate or join a nearby Wi-Fi network,Weak or low Wi-Fi signal strength,Connected to Wi-Fi network, but unable to access the Internet.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and then on again. Verify that you are in range of your Wi-Fi router or base station. Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and Cable/DSL modem are connected to power and turned on. Check whether other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet. Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware.

C an not buy muisic, they said, i'm not connect to the internet

Hello,

You have to ocnnect your iphone to internet first , Follow below step to connect to internet

When you use any Internet enabled application, iPhone does the following in order until connected:
  1. Connects over the last Wi-Fi network you used that's available.
  2. If no Wi-Fi networks you've used are available, shows a list of Wi-Fi networks in range. Tap a network and, if necessary, enter the password to join. Networks that require a password show ht1695_1.jpg next to them.
  3. If no Wi-Fi networks are available or you choose not to join any, iPhone connects over the cellular data network.
Note: You can be on a call and use Wi-Fi or 3G1 at the same time. Other cellular data networks are unavailable while you're on a call.
Wi-Fi
  • Wi-Fi is often faster than cellular data networks. Wi-Fi networks cover limited areas. iPhone can join AirPort and other Wi-Fi networks at home, at work, or at Wi-Fi hot spots around the world.
When iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi icon ht1695_2b.jpg in the status bar at the top of the screen shows connection strength. The more bars you see, the stronger the connection.
  • To see all the Wi-Fi networks in range, from the Home screen choose Settings > Wi-Fi. Tap a network to join it.
  • Many Wi-Fi networks can be used free of charge, and some require a fee. To join a Wi-Fi network at a hot spot where charges apply, in most cases you can open Safari to see a webpage that allows you to sign up for service.
For information about configuring Wi-Fi settings, see the "Wi-Fi" section of the iPhone User's Guide.
Note: iOS devices sold in China may use the term Wireless LAN (WLAN) instead of Wi-Fi. Not all China iPhone models support WLAN; see this article for more information.
Cellular data networks
  • Cellular data networks allow Internet connectivity over the cellular network. Check your carrier's network coverage in your area for availability.
You can tell iPhone is connected to the Internet over a cellular data network if you see ht1695_utms_onb.png,ht1695_3b.jpg or ht1695_gprs_onb.png in the status bar at the top of the screen.
If you're outside your carrier's network, you may be able to use a cellular data network from another carrier. Roaming charges may apply.
Note: If not on 3G, while iPhone is actively transferring data over the cellular data network-downloading a webpage, for example-you may not be able to receive calls. Incoming calls may go to voicemail.
I hope , after this , you will be able to connect to Internet....

Thanks
Sandeep

Cannot connect to internet

First check ipaddress Click Start -run- type cmd hit enter for XP or Start -search-type cmd hit enter in Vista. On the DOS black screen after the blinking cursor type ipconfig hit enter check the ipaddress if are getting ipaddress other than (169........) it is proper ipaddress for e.g 147.14.48.478
Ping the default gateway e.g ping 147.11.445.478 if you are able to get packets send 4 received 4 loss zero is with Internet explorer or operating system.
If unable to ping or getting 169..... ipaddress . you are having static ip address
On the black screen at the blinking cursor type ipconfig /release hit enter
then type ipconfig /renew hit enter .check ip address
Ping default gateway then ping www.google.com if you are able to get packets send 4 received 4 loss 0. Try connect to internet using internet explorer or other browser. if still unable to connect then issue with firewall or antivirus or IE corruption .
Create new administrative account in XP and do MSconfig .Restart the system and logon to new account and try connecting to internet.
If issue persist might have to repair IE or operating system as it is software issue or virus issue.
You can connect a different computer if you have one and check internet.
If unable to get any ipaddress or still getting static ip address ,reset modem or check ethernet cable ,do a hard reset on the internet modem.Shutdown and restart computer and check ipaddress then try connecting to internet. Good luck.
