Question about Canon PIXMA iP90 Mobile Printer

I have put in new printer cartridge, but when it prints, part of a line is not completely filled in (the words.) I put in another cartridge just to troubleshoot and it did the same thing. Is there someway I can clean something?

Please carry out the printer cartridge alignment by clicking on Start button, then click on printer, right click on default printer. Select maintenance on the page displayed and select printe alignment. Let the coputer do the alignment it self and then it will print a test page. Check with the sample displayed on the page. If it is not correct then do the necessary adjustment on the screen (it is displayed) and carryout the process once again.

Printing part words, fading print quality


there are 2 cartridges in for this printer, have you tried replacing both cartridges with new ones?

If yes then your printer needs some maintenance too

Are you Using Genuine Epson Ink Cartirdges?//???

Hello, In Purchasing Epson's CX 5400, CX4800, & CX7400 and more, I found out that Epson does not like Generic Printer Cartridges. That sounds like your problem. Also in Purchasing the Brother's . Color that should be Yellow, will turn out Green, etc. These printers have a chip, that will detect if it is Generic or Genunie. When using Generic Cartridges, it will print lines thru the words, stripes across the picture and also do a mix match with the colors.

That's what these Companies do., so they can keep selling the ink cartridges. Some Printers, are able to use Generic, but you have to fill them up yourself and I heard, quite MESSY.

So I learned, thru trial and error, that you must use the ORIGINAL Genuine Cartridges for these PRINTERS. I had to replace the printer, but Epson, Lexmark & Brothers are always on sale. My Brother & Epson cost me $50.00 with Rebate. Don’t waste too much ink in cleaning it.

This is the only advice I can give you. If you find this helpful, pls rate me.

One microsoft word has problem printing


This usually happens when your printer cartridge is almost empty. (Especially in inkjet printers) But to be sure, you can try to print a couple of pages with notepad, if the problem continues, you can try to clean the printer cartridge (Most of the printers has this function installed, you can go to the Control Panel -> Printers -> Right Click your printer -> Properties -> Maintenance or so), If the problem continues, you can try a new cartridge. But if the problem is with the Microsoft Word, the Microsoft Word itself can be reinstalled or a new updated printer driver can be searched online for correcting this problem.

you may check your ink cartridge

long time less using cause 3 color ink chanel(holes) a little dryer, could not print well even refilled.you may take out the color ink cartridge and put it's surface of bottom (just touch ) in the clean water 1 -2 Hrs, then set back and test it. still not fixed, you also need to do same thing if your print head is separated from your ink cartridge

The printout has lines going through the pictures or wordings


here is the troubleshooting steps
try to remove the ink cartridges and put it baack again but make sure to hear a click sound when you put the ink cartridges,after that try to print again picture and if still has lines through it press the menu in the printer scroll down until you can see the calibrate printer,press ok and select the print calibration page and hit the ok button..after it print place the calibration page in the scanner glass and press start, try to print again a picture and if still has a line call the kodak hot line 1 800 421 6699 and you might have a printhead replacement.
