If the conversion was made after in was installed by a pro or amateur, they should have left the Natural gas orifice in the dryer. If not you will have to buy a new on for your model. They come with instructions.

Changing your gas appliance from natural gas to LP or vice versa.

You have an LP gas stove which you really like and would like to take to a new home but the new home has a natural gas hookup. Since natural gas is already available it would be convenient to be able to use it. Can you convert your unit over to work on natural gas?

Yes it is possible to convert any LP gas appliance to natural gas or from natural gas to LP. The only difference is the size of the orifice used in the burner.

LP gas is composed of a much larger molecule than natural gas and requires a larger orifice to output the same amount of gas as a natural gas unit at the same setting. Therefore if you used an LP stove on natural gas it would produce too much heat and burn rather intensely. If you used a natural gas stove on LP it would not have much flame at all. You can see the problem. The solution is also obvious. You need the correct orifice.

Changing the orifice is easy. It is located in the middle of the burner and unscrews out of the unit. Install the new one the opposite way. Do not overtighten it.Usually the burners are made of soft metal and can strip easily.

The parts you would need are available at most good appliance stores but I would recommend the following site http://www.repairclinic.com . The parts will be cheaper at repairclinic. They have parts for almost any brand and a great search engine. They also have excellent videos showing how to make the repair.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Model# BWH30NLTB

Unit goes under sure heat name also.
My unit emitted unburnt gas smell the minute pilot started,
and was annoying during burner operation.
I discovered they built unit with primary pilot that had 2 ports.
They used LP and sealed off natural gas, instead turning lp/nat
knob on back activates second pilot for natural gas use.
This means natural gas goes thru LP pilot orifice and burns
slightly off during normal natural gas use(by design).
The unused natural gas orifice has 1 air mix hole and the LP orifice
has 2 air mix holes.
I carefully plugged 1 of the holes in the LP orifice and suddenly
pilot gas flame seated correctly on orifice port.Gone was the
unburnt odor of natural gas.
The typical flame in a flame appearance now was exhibited by
the small pilot, secondary pilot remained consistent with manual
picture.
Of course, to use with LP I would have to open blocked air mix
hole in addition to the other changes per manual.
Hope this helps someone with similar condition.

WHAT SIZE HOLE IN JET ON HOT WATER HEATER TO CHANGE FROM NATURAL GAS TO LP GAS

That doesnt work with these units they are manufactured gas specific. The manifold plate would need to be changed as well as notification to Noritz to have a new serial # issued. PC board reprogram required, etc. Buy a natural gas or LP model.

Change from natural gas to propane

1.You will need to change the pilot orifice and the burner orifices
2. You may need to change the gas control valve. Some gas control valves are made for natural gas and some are made for LP. They have regulators built-in, that deliver the correct pressure respectively. Natural gas is 3.5 inches of water column, LP is 10 inches of water column.
Some manufacturers sell kits to change the spring in the regulator from Nat to LP
You would need a parts breakdown on the specific model number of your fryer to find the parts you need. Hope this helps.

Changing a gas ge dryer to a propane----convertion package we25x10014 directions show a picture of the control panel with 4 plug ins at the bottom and changing out the last one on the right for the new...

Converting your Natural Gas Dryer to Lp is taking it from a lower BTU gas "Natural" to a higher BTU "LP" value. The orfice on a LP gas valve is smaller because you dont need as much gas to make the same amount of heat. make sure you change the orifice. The little plug goes in the regulator of the gas valve, changing the valve from a low gas pressure Natural to a Higher Pressure LP.

If the kit doesnt look right, did you get the correct one?

Maybe you should call you LP provider they can do the conversion for you.
