Question about Cameras
Unfortunately we have tto suspect from the begining in this case if the camcorder was working fine in the first place.
If this was tested OK then was a wrong card pushed into it.?
If this was not tested I assume the card interface, card slot could be defective.In both the cases you will need assistance from service centre.
However if it was working, remove battery , remove card. now get your card formatted in your PC . Now after about 30 minutes replace battery and power on. if the display indicates no SD card , push the carrd into the slot and see if it detects. Carefully look into the slot to see if there is any breach in the slot connector.
Since your cam is working otherwise, I suspect that it may not be much of an issue than some bad contacts in the slot.Use an air jet to clean and test once again.
