In my experience, E4 is appear when spin is starting. Then I check the 'magnetic door safety switch' and gotcha, I find the problem --> 'magnetic door safety switch' is damage (always open). Because some reason, I am short-circuit it. Fixed.

My washing machine hitachi make model no SF-70EJ having problem with spin please give assistance what to do

Most spin problems are consequence of drain system faults.

The first part to check is drain system. Check the drain hose at the back and the drain filter attached to the pump. See article at the end for more detail.

Most machines' timer boards do an additional check on the lid switch before starting the spin part of the cycle. If the lid lock light is flashing and the machine does not spin the lid switch is probably defective.

The lid switch is tested jumping its contacts or reading Ohms at switch terminal. A two-terminals switch must read continuity (low impedance) when door is closed and must read open (infinity of Ohms) when door is open. If the switch is a three contacts, the third contact is called "heater". In that case there must be continuity between the three contacts with lid closed. If the model instead of a simple switch uses a wax motor, then the lock cannot be tested by jumping contacts. The lock motor must be tested reading Ohms and checking that impedance is the same as indicated in service manual.

If lid switch and drain system are OK, then the pressure switch must be tested. The pressure switch detects the water level and among other things determines when to advance the cycle to spin.

If all the above is OK, then the motor and motor control unit (if present) must be tested.

Hi Good Day, I brought speedqueen LWS-16NW washing machine and timer is not working properly. I have replaced timer but still it is not working. Problem description: we have connected washing machine...

Hello Mohiddin,
The most probable cause of your troubles is the lid switch, the washer will fill and agitate with the lid open but the lid must be closed for it to spin(yes i know the lid is closed but if the switch is defective it doesnt think it is closed)

Hope this helps
Good luck,Gene

This code is caused by an open or not fully closed washer lid or a broken lid safety switch

My washing eco save 6kgs automatic WF-S65007PPD Shows lid open sign after 2 or 3 cycles of working and than stops , i have closed the lid properly but still same the spin and wash inducators are blinking

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
There is likely to be a problem with either the lid solenoid/lock or the 'lid closed' sensor. Both require a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Washing machine is not working. It is not spinning.

if the washer is not spining first thing to check would be your lid switch heres a video on youtube showing how to repalce the lid switch u can check the lid switch by assuring that you are hearing a clicking sound when you open and close the lid if you lid switch is working properly the next thing you would want to check would be the drive coupling here is also a video of how to replace the drive couple please watch both short videos and if you have any further questions please message me back thanks again please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation .Thanks again

Error code 105

The control should flash this error code if it cannot detect the lid switch opening and closing properly.
This error code may also be used if there is a disagreement between the motor and machine controllers on the state of the lid switch.

The control should not allow the unit to run in this condition. This code will also appear if the user presses the START key while the lid is open.

Open the lid or press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display
