Question about Akai PDP5073TM 50 in. Plasma Television

When i try to turn my plasma tv on in the morning i now have to turn it on multiple times. Once it's on and warmed up it turns on and off ok and the screen looks fine. going back to turning it on once it starts to turn on it makes this noise and the screen slowly starts to get it's color as it warms up. my tv is a 50in. plasma akai. i have not done anything yet to try to fix it.

It sounds like you have failing capacitors in the power supply. It would be best to have a technician to look at it or locate a power supply for the TV and replace it.

TV is blinking like th tube is going out


Morning to you
Have you looked in the troubleshooting pages in the manual?
I suspect that plasma TVs do not have tubes, but there is no reason for tv not show thesame behaviour, but for different reasons.
Look for the scart cables and make sure that they are where they sould be. If this does not work it is the plasma TV doctor who has to take a look.

Tv wonnt turn on properly with remote or on button on front of tv.the green light will flick on then immediately go off.after multiple attempts it may stay on.once on its ok


hi,a possible cause of this is when you clean the screen with a
spray the time you finish to wipe the screen the liquid got time to slide
betwen the glass and the frame wheres are locate the button board inside
making some corroded spot on the circuit so contact may come in contact together
and create this kind of problem

Hitachi pd7200 42" plasma


unplug. leave off for a few minutes. small chance it will reset.
also, it might have lost its input setting and is no longer looking at the input you send the source signal to.

ESA EDTV - 42 inch plasma TV, sound OK no picture.. has vertical lines.


pull plug. allow to reset. try again.

Image is grainy whenever tv is cold


try having the v_set and v_scan voltages reset 15vdc lower..
