Dryer spins but no heat

Conventional dryers are usually accessed by removing the rear panel. I would think these would be the same. Unplug the dryer and remove wires from heating element. Test for continuity with an ohmmeter. If there is no reading, the heating element is bad. Disconnect wires from the hi temp thermostat and test with an ohmmeter and if no reading it is bad. Sears has these parts available.

How to change the Heating Element in a Kenmore Elite Electric Dryer?

If the dryer is running but not heating, then the heating element needs to be replaced. The procedure is as follows:--- 1) First of all unplug the dryer from wall outlet.
2) Remove the front service panel of the dryer.
3) After the front service panel is removed. You will see the heating element wires and heat shield.
4) Remove the heat shield by plucking the wires out from the heat shield.
5) Also remove the screws holding the heating element.
6) The heating will have to be moved a bit to come out easily. Before removing the heating element out. Please note down the position of old heating element. So while placing the new heating element you don’t face any problem.
7) Replace the element with a new element.
8) Refit all the parts removed while removing the old heating element properly.
These will help. Thanks.

KENMORE DRYER JUST STOPPED HEATING UP WHAT CAN I DO TO REPAIR IT?

Replace the Heating Element. The heating element is usually located behind a panel on the back. To replace you will need to remove the back cover of the dryer, then locate the heating element. The heating element is screwed into place and is easy to unscrew and replace. Be sure to have the dryer unplugged while doing this.
Here is the part for it:

Our Kenmore elite dryer has no heat, what do I do?

The First thing I would do is look at the heating element, you must unplug the dryer and remove the screwsfrom the back of the dryer and then locate the element and inspect it for being broke, if any of the coil of the element is broken you must order a new element.

Where is the heating element in the kenmore dryer

It depends upon the model number.
Most Kenmore dryer elements are accessible after you remove the rear panel of the dryer.
If your dryer does not have a removable rear panel you must open the top lid and remove the front panel.

No heat in kenmore series 80, model 85040

hello there:
here is some troubleshooting ideas for you to help
A dryer sometimes won't heat or heats too slowly because of a variety of reasons. By following the guidelines below, you can inspect the heating elements on a gas or electric dryer to pinpoint the source of the problem.
Electric heating elements, found in electric dryers, are self-contained units located in the back of the dryer. A defective heating element is frequently the source of no-heat or drying problems. Remove the back service panel to gain access to the elements.
The heating elements are located inside the heater ducts. If you think a heating element is faulty
