Question about Toro Garden
Sounds like a crankshaft seal (if it's the very bottom). Leaks also develop around the bottom of the oil fill tube and sometimes the oil breather. A happy homeowner would be well advised to take this thing apart, clean the carbon off the piston, valves and head. Buy an engine gasket kit and install the new seal (it comes in most kits). It is not too hard
Or...you can just take the economical approach and just get the seal and replace that only. After 6 years though, cleaning the carbon off the top-end is well advised.
