Clean light blinking

If the clean light blinks four times and then pauses and then blinks four times again and repeats, the problem is your pump motor. If there is water under the DW the pump clamp has probably failed and sprayed water onto and inside the motor. Call a certified Kitchen Aid repair service.

I have atlas copco compressor whose main motor rated current is 128 amps but it draws 144 amps, checked for bearing and winding its absolutely OK...please suggest

see this sometimes when rentals come back in , seems some enterprising individual went in a adjusted the unloading point ,to get more air from machine (thinking) to a higher point , what this does is now not allowing air to unload from dish point , so useing P=AsQ this builds up air inside machine makes motor run more amps to do it too , so this is where id start to look , watch your unloader work , especally if dish valve is slow throttled back closed , if it fails to move you have a fault in your unloader , can be many reasons , from someone meddling like i described or a componet failure

You need to check the drain system completely, look for plugged screens, pump impellers, valves and the drain hose. You need to witness a large volume of water flow during drain.

Dishes seem to have a powery residue on them after they're clean

Check inlet water quality for hardness. If salt chamber is provided, fill the chamber with salt meant for washing machine.

Use the recommended wash soap.

Check rinse aid and fill if required.

When the cycle has finished and I open the door to unload the dishes the dishes ar edry but the is water running down the inside.

The solenoid valve connected to your inlet requires cleaning. If you can access it it take it out and clean the vents. Switch off power. Note down the connections before you disconnect the leads. Mostly it is push in/ out terminals.

The green clean light keeps flashing even after unloading dishes and replace with dirty dishes. now i can't get the dish washer to start washing

This may help in your situation. The following link explains how you may be able to clear the blinking clean light problem:

Now...keep in mind all dish washers are not alike and have different panel options. If you do not have the same set up as I have referenced, the tech sheet for your dishwasher will explain. The tech sheet is located behind the lower toe panel under the door and lists the proper sequence of buttons to push for diagnostics and troubleshooting.

NOTE: Sometimes the tech sheet is located behind the inner door panel. You will need to remove the screws securing the inner panel to access it if this is the case. Make sure you turn off the main power breaker before doing so.

Sometimes this can be a momentary glitch in operation. However, if the problem keeps reoccuring the number of flashes is an indication of which circuit is causing your problem. Again, refer to your tech sheet to determine this.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you solve your problem.

There is a drain hose for your dishwasher that often gets clogged. Remove the drain hose and clean it out. reinstall the hose and your dishwasher will drain. The dishwasher should have a panel to remove and then comes out easily, just be careful not to pull it out too far. If this does not fixya then you may need to throw some parts at it, but hopefully not. Good luck

Not cleaning at all - most dishes end up being washed by hand afterwards

Hi there!

You've done the basics, so we'll treat it as a fault due to wear.

When running, do you hear the spray arms rotating - about twice a second?

If the water is actually reaching the dishes, bur the arms are not rotating, you may need replacement spray arms.

If the water is not even reaching the dishes with any force, The circulation pump may be faulty and needs replacement.

Hope this helps you.
