Question about Philips GoGear SA178 MP3 Player
I have a Philips GoGeat 512. I was listening to it when I got on my pc. I unplugged my head phones from in and connected it to the pc. The pc recongized it and everything. Then after I got off the pc Pnd unplugged it it won't do anything. It won't turn on or connect to the pc. please help.
This player does not work well with Windows Media Player 11.
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Tips for a great answer:
If it is still not recognized, your player may be at fault. Try the Philips Device Manager software.
NOTE: Contents will be removed by using the repair function.
You can find the recovery key on your player from the below table.
