Question about Televison & Video
I have a DLP-TV Samsung HL=R5668W that has a dark band, about 6 inches, wide on the left side of the screen. It looks the same before and after I replaced the projection bulb. The band is the same width top to bottom along the very left edge of the screen. It seems to get darker over time. I first noticed it 6 to 9 months ago.
The reflecting mirror is likely loose and falling down inside the light reflecting tube. you should have seen the band getting darker and larger,
the small mirror is in front of the lamp and bends the light,
remove the lamp and look down the tube (light path)
