Question about Washing Machines
THIS WASHER WILL INTERMITTENLY STOP IN MIDDLE OF WASH AND
NOTHING YOU DO WILL TURN IT BACK ON. LET IT SET AND SEVERAL HOURS TO 3 DAYS YOU TRY TO TURN IT ON AND IT WILL COME ON.
WE HAVE HAD A REPAIRMAN OUT TWICE AND IT WORKS WHEN HE
GETS TO IT.
I would imagine your atc sensor or atc contol board could be causing the problem.
1st make sure you are getting water to the machine hot and cold. If you water valve is not opening for one or the other it would be the water valve. To check the valve start the washer on a cycle and select cold wash feel the water, then turn it over to hot and feel again. If both are working then you will most likely need the ATC sensor part #WH12X10016 $48.00 or you will need the ATC control board part #WH12X10045 $118.00 I would start with the sensor they usually are the problem in this situation. Good luck to you. Mike
