Question about Goldstar DH304 Dehumidifier

I have a fairly new DH65E. Plug it in and it gets no power - nada. Outlet ok - must be in unit - any suggestions?

Hi,
Yes the control board is shot...this has happened to a number of units that I have worked on...better to throw it out and get a new one...

Haier dehumidifier will not power on


Turn the ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit for 15 minutes.
Once the time has elapsed, plug the unit in and turn the unit ON.

Hopefully, during that 15 minute timeout, the electronics reset and reverted back to the original factory settings. And the unit will turn ON when you press the ON/OFF Switch.

It's also a good idea to check the outlet it's plugged into. It very well could be an issue with the outlet (no power) or the circuit breaker for that outlet has tripped.

Just purchased Model LD651EBL - 65 pints. Followed instructions to operate/start but it will not start. Checked breakers and tried alternative plugs. Seems to be no power. What should I do?


Make sure the bucket is installed properly. It you are CERTAIN it is installed properly and you still get no power to the unit (you said you definitely have power at the wall outlet) return it to the store and either get it demo'd or replaced. Definitely rule out the wall outlet by testig with a light or a radio before you load the unit into the car.

Any more than what I have suggested may void any warranty you may be entitled to. Don"t wait.

No power at all. pluged into wall.i push bucket switch and try to start up,nothing.no power


To troubleshoot the problem: First start with the wall outlet. Is there still power to it? If not a circuit breaker in your homes breaker panel may have tripped. Is there a lose wire connection in the outlet or is the outlet damaged inside? If all of these things check out OK, try plugging the unit into another outlet that's on a different circuit.

Other causes:

The bucket is full. Unit shouts off completely when this occurs.

The bucket is not installed properly. Remve bucket and reinstall it "squarely" from top to bottom
into the bucket holder.

If the ambient room temperature is 112 degrees F or lower than 32 degrees F, the unit will shout down to protect the compressor. Wait 3 minutes and then restart the unit.

If all of the above troubleshooting fails to resolve the problem. Call Haier Customer Service
1-877-337-3639.

Need a replacement cord for my dh65e dehumidifier I s it possible to buy a replacement cord and install it my self the cord got nicked and there was a short


If you're really careful and persistent, you could probably do it. The real key, is don't remove the old cord from the uni, until you have the new one, That way, you'll see which leads fit where.

Is there a reset button for the power for the machine?


Anbna, there is no reset button for your discontinued model. However, you can try resetting it by doing the following:

Turn the ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit for 15 minutes.
Once the time has elapsed, plug the unit in and turn the unit ON.

Plug the unit in, hit the power switch nothing not even the lights for the buttons.


Check the outlet that the unit is plugged into, to make sure that it has power. The circuit breaker for that outlet may have been tripped. Also make sure that the outlet is not damaged inside or there could be a loose wire connection or a frayed wire to the outlet.

My Fedders A7DH45B2A dehumidifier (about 4 yrs old) continues to trip the fuse embedded in the outlet on the wall in which it's plugged in.. What gives??


either try a different outlet to see if the G.F.C.I. is bad on this outlet or if the dehumidifier trips on another line it could be the units motor start capacitor that shorted or the compressor is bad

E1 CODE ERROR


E1 code for the primary humidity sensor behind right side grill. Unit MUST be unplugged from outlet. Take right side grill out, unplug sensor from wire socket and plug back. If no help, you need new sensor.

My DANBY Dehumidifier model DDR4588EE has been working ok until it showed a E1 error code and since then it does not work properly. Any ideas please?
