Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Hi, there are a couple of possibilities that could be causing this. The first and most common is that the blu ray diode has become faulty. What you will find is that films do not play properly, freeze up or are not recognized at all. Games also display the same characteristics. The second reason is that the blu ray lens drive motor has become faulty. This moves the laser along a geared shaft as the disc is being read. Either way it really is not good news I am afraid. The likely outcome is that you will require a new blu ray drive or at the very least a new blu ray laser. Ebay would be a good place to start but they can be up to as much as £70 for them.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa
