Your watch is Chronograph watch and the big centre seconds hand is for chronograph function only - not day to day seconds counting. Check the small dials and you will see that the small seconds hand is already counting seconds- this small one is seconds counter. To engage chrono hand push the upper push button once. To stop it - push the same button again. to return to zero- push lower button.

For all watches we offer up to two additional links. There is a $4 shipping & handling charge for all link orders. If more than two links are needed, you will be charged $3 for each additional link requested.
Please note that each additional link adds approximately inch to the watchband. Link quantities are limited and are not guaranteed to be in stock.
The only place you can get them is at a watchrepair. Sometimes I have found wierd sized link holes and have had to make my own pins. I just take a small nail and file it to the size I need. If you have a dremmil tool with a sandpaper attachment it is so much easier! Take a nail that is a little bit longer than the link is and sand down in a slow graduating cone shape, make sure to top of the nail is a little bit wider than the hole on the top of the link. Once you have that , put the smaller end in the link , line up the other link so that the pin goes into both links , and then tap it in. The pin should go into the bottom of the links. It might be good to do this on a piece of wood so that if the pin goes a little through the bottom, you don't damage anything. Try to make the pin as tight as you can, and than file (or dremmil) the top and bottom to the links size. If you still have problems please let me know, and maybe I can help you further. a jeweler or the fossil store would have the right tools to do the job, but you basically just need something strong and thin enough to fit in the hole where the pin is. You will need a small hammer or something that isn't too big but has enough weight and control to tap the pin out. After that you pretty much just take the link out and reconnect the separated ones.
My best suggestion to you is to take it to a Fossil store (they will do it for free!), or go to a jewelry or department store (Dillards, Foleys) to get it sized right.
The problem with doing it yourself is if you do not have the correct tools you can scratch the watch or bend the pins easilly. Especially with the black band like you have.
If you go to a jewelry repair shop they will charge you. I have seen them charge anywhere from $2.00 to $15.00. Unlike Fossil or a few other big department stores.
