Question about Welbilt Microwave Ovens
The only Welbilt convection ovens that I find a recall on are the GTC1 and CVN35 with a white cord. The model number is on the bottom of the oven. The recall was issued in 1998 and updated in 2002. Details are here: http://www.cpsc.gov/CPSCPUB/PREREL/PRHTML98/98066.html
If the oven has a black cord, it isn't subject to the recall.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a manual anywhere. You might try the company that manufactured the units, Appliance Corp. of America, 38 Old Ridgebury Rd., Danbury, CT 06810, United States (203)792-4945 or the Welbit Corporation, 225 High Ridge Road, Stamford, Connecticut 06905, U.S.A., (203) 325-8300. Have the model number available.
Note that the number above does not match the model number for any of the Welbilt ovens that I can find. The model number usually starts with a letter.
I hope this helps.
