HP c6150 all in one error message Oxc19acff Ink System Failure. Replaced Yellow ink cartridge an still receive error.

Turn off the machine using the power button, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges, wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the power button to turn on the machine, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to re-prime ink through the system. There are instructions for doing this at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/hp-photosmart-ink-system-failure-1/.

Have HP C6150 printer. Printer will turn on and off repeatedly and gives the error msg. ''To prevent damage use the on button to shut down printer. Do not use power strip or wall switch to shut down.''...

Take it for a repair quote and then make a decision as the repair cost will depend on what is actually wrong with the printer. You have nothing to lose!

Same problem, hp c6150 turns on and shuts down in infinite loop.

In visiting with HP Support Personnel, this issue is most likely caused by a faulty power source. I have the same issue with our C6150 and they recommended that I look at replacing power cable. I am currently trying to find a new power cable.

HP C6150 Printer that turns off then back on repeatedly

Please DON'T keep posting messages that say "I had the same problem..." Those are useless!

If the software resets don't work, it's possible it's an electronics problem. Here is a repair note that worked for me:
