Hi, the answer to your question is it all depends if you can get them off without breaking them, it can be done but not very often it might be worth just buying them just in case then if you dont use them you can always take them back and get your money back.

most of the time you will get a crease in one or it will split but if you take you time you may get it off in one piece, their is no right or wrong way and no tricks to getting it off in one piece, its just the luck of the drawer, take your time and work your way around it and dont use to much force on one part. the chances are it will split or crease so dont think it because you have done something wrong its just they are made to stay where they are so getting them off in one piece is difficult at the best of times.

so to answer your question, i would say get them just in case as it saves you going back to get them if you do end up damaging it, you can always take it back if you dont need to use the new parts.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

please rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

How to open the trunk on 2004 Jaguar XJR. The battery is dead.

Hi Manuel:
Is it possible to open the hood?
If so, you should be able to attach jumper cables (Alternator or Relay?) to get the switches powered up. I'm assuming the trunk latch is electrical.

Steering is very stiff in my 2004 jaguar xjr

You may have a fluid leak. The pipes are prone to leaking on that vehicle. The power steering top up reservoir is under the hood. Refer to reservoir caps for indication or owners manual.

look all the way to the back of that toward the rear of the motor... you should have some access to the drain plug... if there is no access you need to purchase the socket that will fit that... likely a torq type.

Jaguar xjr 2004

the motor is "sealed" by the factory... you need a special tool.... it does beg the question. it sounds like you are trying to remove the whole oil pan. why ??

There should be a drain plug that you can unscrew to change the oil.
