Your partial resonance power supply with IC with IGBT switch is a bad. This is just an IC chip it cost about $25.00. I would prefer a tech to change it for you.

10 years on a plasma is pretty good. If you are losing the plasma screen, then it will not be worth the time/cost to replace. LCD TV's have come down (and the new 4K format is here) considerably, are less energy hogs and last longer than the Plasma (this can be debated on longevity but LCD technology has been around a long time and is more prevelant than plasma). Time to upgrade.
it could either be the screen (my bet) or the controller board for the screen. Either way, the cost to truck a repairman out there, diagnose, order the part and return could exceed what a new format LCD will run you.

Pioneer PDP435PG inadvertently reprogrammed by Casablanca remote.

Some ceiling fans have jumpers that can be moved to select a different frequency but you have to be sure both the remote and the fan receiver are set the same. Other than that, you may have to use some creative control. For example, I can turn on my TV by pointing the remote at the wall opposite the TV

depending on the severity of it, it can be just a couple of voltage adjustments on the power supply. If that does not clear it up if you replace the power supply it should take care of it.

TV keeps shutting off automatically

Since your plasma is less then a year old, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get it fix under warranty. If the plasma keeps shutting off by itself, that is not normal and should be repair.

Pioneer Elite shows pixels at the top of the screen

There may be a failure starting in the matrix drive board, or in the display itself. The area of failure can be verified with proper troubleshooting by swapping modules. These sets are mainly serviced by swapping modules, and then calibrating as required.

Considering the age of the set parts and modules may be difficult to find. Also, these sets are fairly expensive to service. Because of the age of the set reliability will be low even after service.

I would be seriously considering that it is time to start shopping for a new set when the fault becomes intolerable.

Pioneer PDP-4330HD - turns iteself off - resets

I bought a 503 which had this problem, it would stay on for anything between 10 mins & 3 hours.
the guy told me he had been told it was a condensation sensor.
All I did was take back off, blow it out all boards with an air line, disconect fans. I ve had it 6 months now with not a single problem.
