Question about Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ80U Plasma TV

No power on my TH46PZ850U tv just the red light in front.

    Not in from of the TV today. But, they was a solid red light on the power indicator. I don't recall hearing a relay.

    I check the unit this weekend. when I press the power button I hear the relay and then the red power light in the front of TV blink on and off. The TV doesn't turn on.

Hi,
Does power indicator on tv lit when tv plugged in?
If yes, do you get relay click sound when press power button?
Does power indicator or any other light blinking on tv front?
Let me know to diagnose possible cause of problem in tv.

    OK, so no light of power indicator.
    Power supply board seems defective, please check main fuse of power supply board and replace it with same rating written on it if found blown. If fuse blow again, replace power supply board.
    make sure tv ac cord is unplugged while checking main fuse on power supply board.

    How many times power led blinking after long pause, led can blink 1 to 13 times and this blink is error code that shows possible section of problem in tv.

    OK, 2 blinks error code shows +15V supply problem on D Board
    Below image shows D board location in tv

    Need to test 15 volt supply on that board, if supply gets in that board but tv still shows 2 blinks then replace the board and if 15V is not being supplied, need to follow source of that volts that is power supply board.
    If you feel uncomfortable working with circuit boards then local tv repair shop is good option to get help.

    I'm not sating that power supply board is bad, in fact I'm trying to convey how to troubleshoot the problem.
    Required service manual can be downloaded from HERE for small fee, it has schematics, part number details info.

    i have the same problem with my TH-46pz850u. The light blinks 10 times, it wont do anything else. this just happen this week. its my main TV for the apartment cant afford another, really want to fix this.

Power supply board is dead.Replaced the power supply board will solved this problems.Tries websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Tv will not power up blue power light flashing,red temp and red lamp lights flashing


The lamp is likely blown - it is loacated behind the front panel and can be pulled out to check - unplug set and do not touch front of lamp.

Cannot get tv out of stand by mode..


upon hitting the power button, the red light showing on the front of the tv should flash a couple of times, the screen should come on and the light goes off..the red "stand by " light stays on and we cannot get the screen to come up..needless to say, cannot get to the menu to change any display options...any suggestions?

Tv wont turn on


Ur high voltage is dead,the FBT,the flyback transformer is dead.The big black block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to the CRT(tv tube).
