Question about Logitech Attack 3 Joystick
When running FSX Deluxe Edition (SP1) with the
Logitech Attack 3 Joystick, during gameplay, if I click the #3 button (which is
currently assigned to "release droppable object" it starts to run the
command but then the whole systems restarts.
I'm not sure if it's a bug with FSX (since it doesn't happen when FSX is off), the joystick, or virus... Help!
P.S. If nobody knows of a solution, does anyone know how to find the FSX Deluxe Edition PID so I can try to contact Microsoft? I've been searching all over!

First, check your game documentation to see if your game supports the use of a joystick. Most First Person Shoot 'em Ups do not support joysticks, and only supports mice/gamepads.
If joysticks are supported in your game, please read on...
Make sure that your joystick is properly installed and detected by your computer. You can check in Device Manager or Control Panel > Game Controllers. Also make sure you have the latest software (LGS/WingMan) installed.
Next, you will have to create a new profile for your game in the WingMan Profiler:
Hope that helps.
Please dont forget a FixYa rating if this solution was helpful. Thanks in advance.

Yes I also have the logitech attack 3 joystick and I found a very easy to use program. Go to http://www.tucows.com/preview/292788 and download the program. Then follow the instructions. Before you start the program, make sure that your joystick is plugged in. Then, pick the last joystick on the drop down menu on the main menu of the program. There you go! When you are done, just go to the bottom right corner of your computer screen, and right click on the picture that looks like a video game controller. Then click on exit.
