Question about Toshiba Satellite L500 Series Notebook
When you boot up the computer go into the setup or bios, and verify that it hasn't been disabled for some reason. Same goes with the windows Device manager, locate USB in the device list and make sure no devices have a red X or yellow ! on them, I always try a simple usb device like a mouse first to verify USB is not working as mice are simple plug and play, just as a test.
