Question about Acer Aspire 5630 Notebook
I don't know what other experts have instructed, let me bring up some tips for you. First disconnect the power cord, remove the battery and open the back cover with the Ram Cover (Memory cover). After it's opened, remove the hard disk and the ram/s, now plug in the charger and power on the laptop, look on the screen and check if it is checking for the hardwares or not. It'll also look for Boot disk available and will ask you to insert boot disk.
Turn off the machine and install the ram (not the hard disk), if you have two rams, install only one of them. Power on the machine and check again whether the screen goes to blank with that blinking cursor or not. If it's seems ok, Turn it off and install the other Ram (both the rams), now Switch on again and and check again. This time try to enter the Bios settings (the option to enter the bios will be displayed on the screen like "Press F2 t oenter Bios settings.... etc..") and leave it for few minutes. If remains On without shutting down, then Turn Off and install the hard disk, Power on the machine and try again. You'll see what happens, and will know the root of the cause. Let me know after this....

I will advice you try this, unplug the power to the laptop, then take out the battery, then hold the start button on your laptop for 20-30 seconds, once that is done, continue with installing the battery again and power lead, then simply press start on your laptop, this should fix the problem.
