Question about Samsung SH-S182 DVD±RW Dual Layer Burner
I bought a SH-S182D/BEBN DVDRW off the internet. It came with no manual for installing it. I had a friend help and he pulled out the old drive which I wanted to replace.
He looked at the old drive and the jumper was in connecting different pins on the back then the SH-S182, so he changed the jumper to connect it to the same pins as the old drive.
Can you tell me which pins on the back should be shorted?
If the drive is "Master" (the first drive in cable line installed) then the jumper goes to "MA", if it is a "SLAVE" connected drive then the jumper goes to "SL".
