Hello,
You will need to purchase a PCI Express 16 card. This is usually abbreviated PCI-E x16. It will plug into the black (x16) slot above the 2 white (standard pci) slots. I would recommend this card which gives great performance for a good price:

Hope that helped.

You will need to use a PCI video card. These are available on eBay, Best Buy and other computer parts stores.

tv tuner, sound card,IO card, scii card, dialup internal modem, etc...

mybe that is a pci slot, used any of the pci slot if the hardware will detect then install the software include for that card..

It is not a problem with your motherboard unless your video is on-board. This is not normally the case. Your video card has limited memory and should be upgraded.

Ati radeon 9550 agp with pinnacle pctv hd problem please help

Try to put it on another pci slot. if you are using the one right under the agp, then that is your culprit.  the agp and the top pci slot share video resources.  just put it on another pci slot, if you have to swap another non-video related card to the one just beneath the agp slot.  Hope this helps.

What is DDR2 graphic cards ? help

Let's make this clear, There are many factors that contribute to a videocard's performance. The BUS which is the connection from the card itself to the Motherboard , though not the most important, is one of them.
PCI is extremely slow compared to PCI express and a videocard with PCI bus suffers from a strong bottleneck that makes it quite unsuitable for 3D graphics.
a PCI card is good as second display adapter to connect extra monitors to your pc: handy feature for data monitoring and multitasking but not that much as a gaming card.
Your motherboard does not have an AGP slot, but also has an Intel integrated graphic chip, so a PCI Nvidia 9400 will be quite a big upgrade, but don't expect high gaming performance...
furthermore Graphic memory speed has a big impact on performance, but size does not.512MB DDR2 is a big but slow memory and 1GB I can say it's totally useless, you need to use a resolution way over full HD to take advantage of it, but a PCI card performs really bad on that.

I want to upgrade my graphic card

That video card won't work on your system board. The video card requires a PCI-E expansion slot, but the system board has an AGP slot. You'll need to look for an AGP video card. I tried looking on the site you gave for the card you were considering and they don't seem to have any AGP type cards, so you will need to shop around some more.

Usually "on board graphic card" reffers to an internal video graphics circuit intergrated into the motherboard. If your monitor's video cable plugs into a separate card, then you can replace the card. If there is no video card, then only option is to replace motherboard. Might be cheaper to buy new computer.

Pci-e question

Hi

I am afraid Dell OptiPlex GX260 has no support for PCI-e.

You can however install a half-length AGP (66MHz) graphics card.
