Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

My printer is not saying that my ink is low, but it keeps printing out half of what I print. I have a HP Deskjet series F2280 Please help!!!!

Sounds like clogged inkjet heads, take the print head out and dab it on on a paper towel with some vinegar and water on it until you have some consistant lines appearing on the towel dabs. the put it back in your printer and run the clean ink head routine. Following that try again, if still missing, do a couple more clean ink head routines, it should improve. inkjet printer heads tend to dry out over time.

HP Deskjet 5150 poor print quality


For poor printing problems I suggest you run the Tap 10 diagnostic print test (see link to video below).
If the new (or refilled/reman/compatible) HP 56, 57 or 58 ink cartridge refuses to print black/color and/or function at all (i.e. blinking ink light on Deskjet 5000 series printer) or fails to complete the printer alignment following cartridge installation, then the ink cartridge either has a connectivity issue with the flexible printed circuit cable (inside unit where cartridge mates with cable), the rear cartridge contacts or cable contacts are dirty with ink residue, or the cartridge is suffering from marginal internal electrical performance. It is suggested you perform the TAP 43 (and TAP 10) DIAGNOSTIC PRINTER TEST to evaluate the ink cartridges electrical performance. NOTE: For the HP Deskjet 5000 series printer models, when you get an HP 56, 57 or 58 integrated ink cartridge refilled (i.e. currently offered at Costco or Frys today) or if you buy a remanufactured/compatible HP ink cartridge, the ink levels are not initially reset. However, continuing to use an ink cartridge which displays LOW INK alerts is permitted by the printer, simply select OK, CONTINUE or DISMISS when these alerts are observed. My HP deskjet F2280 is blinking and not print.i already clean cartridge's panel.


Hi

Please try to reset the printer.

Please try this solution.
Remove the USB cable into the printer and leave the printer on.
Remove all the cartridges.
Close the cartridge door and wait for the INSERT INK MESSAGE to appear.
Disconnect the power cable and from the power source supply.
Move the carriage using your hand from the original position to the other side of the printer and then move it back to original position. Wait for couple of minutes
Reconnect power cord and turn on the printer.
Return all the ink cartridges and close the door. Wait for the calibration process.
Print the test page to check if it working.
Reconnect the USB cable and try to print again.

Prints only on left side of page.


Hello,

In printing web pages and email please try to check also the print setting before you print the page cause word document files and web pages are not the same in there printing setting. Web pages and emails has different setting so my recommendation is that when you print email and webpages next time then please check the printer settings then modify it the same settings as you wish or as your word document's output.
