Question about Philips GoGear HDD1830 MP3 Player
Make sure you are using Windows XP with Service Pack 2, and Windows Media Player 10.
If you have Windows Media Player 11, then uninstall it to roll back to version 10.
Install and run Philips Device Manager from the product CD.
Connect the player to the power supply and PC.
Select the Repair/Restore option and follow the on-screen prompts.
This will format the player, freeing up any dead space, and re-load the system files.
NOTE: THIS WILL DELETE ALL TRACKS ON THE PLAYER.
