Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
On kenmore washers there's a motor coupling that brakes from overloading the washer.take out the two screws that hold the top console down, flip the console up,it's on hindges.now with a screw driver remove the two metal clips and disconnect the lid switch, now pull the frame to you and up,remove the whole frame.on the bottom you'll see the pump, with a screw driver pop the clips off, then take out the two screws and pop off the motor clips and pull off the motor,on the back you'll see the motor coupling.look at the old one and you'll see how it goes together.if you need more help let me know.one more thing,if it stopped and wont drain and spin check the lid switch, just open the lid like two inches and close it a few times, you should hear it clicking,if it doesn't click the lid switch is broke,if you send the model number i can look up your parts,i don't remember the full part numbers
