Question about Kenmore Dryers
Yank out the filter, remove the filter housing screws. Lift the top up and get the front off. Lift out the drum and give it a good clean. Inspect wheels and idler. Place new belt ribbed side down to the drum. Make sure it ain't twisted. Place the drum back in the dryer and have a friend hold up the drum while you wrangle with the idler. Stick the idler in the floor below the motor and raise it up. Shove the belt through the idler and hook it onto the motor pulley. Let it go and the tension holds it in place. Turn the drum a few times to make sure it ain't twisted. If it is twisted bye bye belt when the dryer takes off. LOL. Here is a pictoral
