Why does dryer start run a little beep 3 times cut off

Really you need to provide your model number. but that said... the number one cause of a dryer shutting down after a short warm-up is a blocked exhaust outlet. Dryers have a sensor that checks the exhaust temperature... if its not moving the hot air out side than it over heats and trips the sensor which will shut off the dryer for safety (no fires please!!). So check your exhaust outlet outside for lint blockage... check your exhaust hose/pipe for kinks where lint can build up and of course always check the lint screen for blockage.

When you first start up dryer everything is good. After burner shuts down just glow plug comes on but burner will not fire up.

Check for proper air flow. Pull exhaust hose from the back of the machine, turn on, form an opinion about air flow.....hook back up, turn unit on, go outside and see if the air volume is the same....Suspect air flow restriction, which will trip thermal sensors (rather than catch fire)...

It taking too long to dry. I checked for blockage in the exhaust and lint and everything was ok.

Pop open the peep hole at the front bottom and watch the igniter glow until it ignites the gas. Are the burner flames a strong blue flame? Watch it for a little while. Does it stay lit for a few secs and shut down and then try to cycle back on? By the way, how old is this dryer?

Isn't heating up. takes forever to dry,

Disconnect the complete exhaust vent tubing and clean it out thorourghly. Then it will dry. There is a moister sensor in your dryer and when the lint builds up inside the vent tubing the sensor shuts off the burner to prevent fires from starting

Gas......starts to heat then quits minutes later.

Problem is your gas solenoid coils. When they get worn they will open til they get out then shut. They will need to be replaced.

Part number 279834 replaces for most models.

My suggestion would be to make sure that the lint-filter and the exhaust flex hose are removed and cleaned. If you have the plastic type flex-hose, be aware that these can heat up and catch fire. Be sure to also check the exhaust port coming out of the dryer (that the flex hose attaches to); make sure that there is nothing obstructing the air flow, if there is, then clear & clean and try to restart. If not, I would call a service company...
