SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How do you set up a wifi connection on a dell c600/c500

Your Dell does not have built-in wireless capability. You will have to purchase a wireless PCMCIA card for this computer.
Once you get the card, you place it in the card slot on the side of the computer and install the software--actually, I believe you install the software first.
Anyway, once the card is installed, you will be able to access wireless networks. I usually recommend Linksys cards as I've had good experiences with them.

Just bought this laptop - cannot get the Wireless

If wireless card is listed in device manager under network adapters-that means you dont have to install it. If you running on vista, go to control panel and find ssomething like wireless contol manager or wireless assistant and see if its not disabled there. may also be disabled in bios settings. on windows xp-check if windows has possibility to manage wireless networks or its blocked by third party software. for example i use bt voyager wireless card and its managed by bt software. built in cards are likely managed by windows. type services.msc in run box and see if wireless zero configuration service is enabled.

I am not able to install driver for D-link wifi card

The card could be bad. I've found over the years that most of these desktop wireless cards work best when the software is installed before the card is installed. Meaning uninstall all the software. Turn off the machine. Remove the wireless card. Turn back on the machine. Install the software. Once installed, shut down the machine. Install the card. Turn back on the machine and lets Windows find the card and the software.

1st what you need to do is to uninstall the software for the wireless card, after the uninstallation restart te computer, once the computer is restarted go aehad and plugg in the wireless card, once the card is plugged in a message will pop up that the computer has detected a hardware and click on the link it will give you steps by which you can go ahead and install the software for the wireless card in the computer, even after this the card is being detected but the software is not getting installed then probably you need to go aehad and download the software from the website and then install in the computer, the cd might have the corroupted drivers......

WIRELESS CARD FOR LAPTOP

Hi

Your did not provide any info on which card you have or wish to install; USB, PC Card, or internal mini PCI card.

For mini PCI cards, first you have to open up the D600 laptop and install the Hardware (ensure to connect the antenna cables) then power-up and install the software (drivers and utility).

For USB and PC Cards, follow the device manufacture's recommended steps. Generally, for USB devices, the software (drivers and utility) needs to installed first before the hardware is connected.

If you have successfully installed the hardware and software (driver/utility) you can scan, choose and connect to an available wireless access point or wireless ad-hoc setup. This can be done through the wireless manufacture's utility or from Windows Wireless Zero Configuration utility. If you use the manafucature's utility, Windows Wireless Zero Configuration utility will not work; will not scan or list available wireless network.

Annoying bug

the best way to deal with the uninstall is to go to network connections in control panel and go to the network adapter icon and right click and select dissabl, or press Ctrl,Alt & Del and look for the wireless card.exe file in proceses and highlight it and click end process . Then go to add/remove programmes and uninstall the software, or use the cd that you got with the card to uninstall. Remove the network card from the current pci slot and use a different one to install it again if possible. Reinstall software and allow the software to run the network card, but when it is running, right click the icon in the taskbar and there should be a line that appears and says enable windows WZC (wireless zero configuration), this is more stable and will overtake your wireless connection. Re install the software

Hello, The only XI-300B wireless pc card I could find, is made by Zcomax Technologies, Inc, and is a Type II PC Card, probably branded by Casio. You can see it here to make sure: http://www.zcomax.com/ look under products, then 802.11b - (11 mbps) The driver is here: http://www.zcomax.com/1mbfile/11MbpsPCCF/XI300v1729.zip There is a manual and some other things you can download for it as well. Let us know how it goes for you, and if you need additional help. Best regards, nightdiver
