Hi here is what you can do try plug red green and blue plugs into phillips it should be color coded and then plug same colors into back of tv colors should match then press tv input until you get pic make sure dvd players is on and playing or you can use s video plug only good for pic you wont get sound you would need to plug in rca for audio and turn tv input to s video or if you have hdmi input all you need is one cord for video and sound and you can get full hd on it if player and tv is both capable so plug it in to hdmi 1 or 2 and turn tv input to hdmil 1 or 2 where ever you plug it in also make sure dvd players is on and playing

I'm trying to figure out how to connect an apex digital t.v. converter box to a hitachi clu-5722tsi television...how do I do this? please help!! picture is the back of the tv..but then I also don't know...

Most digital converters provide two types of output: an RF output that connects to the antenna input of your TV and left audio, right audio, and video outputs that connect to the corresponding inputs of your TV. The RF output connection produces a digital picture on channel 3 or 4 (selected by you at the converter) with your TV set to the appropriate channel. The L/R audio and video connection produces a better quality picture. Choose one or the other, but not both. The picture you provided shows three possible inputs for the L/R audio plus video arrangement.

Power is on tv picture not showing

Thank you for bringing this up with us. I understand that your TV is powering on, however there's no picture on it.

The common issue why you have a blank screen knowing the fact that your TV is on, is just that the cable might not properly or thoroughly connected, please check your cable if they connected properly if they are, please try to tighten the cables.

Please let me know whether it works.

Thanks.

Is there anyway that i can connect a nec vt695 to my tv

Hello.

Connecting the nec to your tv, I think you mean you would like to get the TV's picture out from the NEC instead of the TV.

You need to connect your digital cable box or dvd player or vcr system, where the picture goes to the tv, to the projector instead to get it to display the tv picture.

Can't guarantee that it would work without knowing more about your equipment.

If that is not what you wanted to do then I do not know.

No picture

Hello,

is your TV connected to a receiver or DVD player? I want to know so that I can detect if the fault is from the video cord that connects your TV to the receiver or DVD player.

Or, you can connect a DVD player to the TV and see if there will be any picture.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say above. Your TV not having picture might be a fault from the display board/ic inside the TV or it might just be a bad wire connecting from the TV to DVD player or receiver.

So try to check the wires at the back of the TV, to be know if its a wire fault or not.

Good luck.

Picture too large for screen

It appears that on this television you can only adjust the picture size when you are using the twin picture feature. You must adjust the picture size with your other remote control. Since I do not know whether you are connected to a cable box or a satellite tv box or a blu ray player or a DVD player I cannot be very specific. On your other remote control you should had an hd zoom button, aspect, format, ratio, #, or etc. Those buttons change the picture size. The other factor determining picture size is the resolution the equipment connected to your tv is set to. This tv supports 1080i but you should also try setting the connected equipment to 720p or 480p or 480i. Also the connected equipment may be connected to your tv in two places so make sure you are on the correct selection using the tv video button on the Sony remote.

BLURRY PICTURE

Turn on your projection TV and wiggle the coax cable from your cable box or antenna where it connects to the TV. If the picture fluctuates, you know that you have a loose connection, or that the coax cable is bad.

Cant get a picture

1st-how do you have your "cox" cable box [you could have said it was a cox cable box!!] connected. Can you 'get a picture' through the TV without the VCR ? Do that! disconnect the VCR from the line and plug the TV directly to the "cox" box.Does it work? Are any of the cables connected from cox to VCR to TV damaged.? Let me know how you have the three(3) equipments connected.

There audio but no picture

I don't know how you connect the unit to the tv.
Let's just start on basic:
composite video/audio(yellow-video, white/red-audio) connect to TV composite video/audio input behind the TV.
If the audio works but no picture, try to use another video input behind the tv.if that still doesn't work, use a different video cable!
Good luck!

PICTURE IN PICTURE TV RCA

The PIP puts a smaller picture on your main picture. Usually, the smaller picture is generated by a second source, such as a VCR. The VCR must be connected to the main cable signal and connected to the TV through the red, white, yellow RCA jacks. The VCR picks the smaller picture whilt the tuner in the TV picks the main pucture. The PIP circuits digitally add the smaller picture to the larger picture. The PIP cannot be used to veiw 2 different channels at once on satellite systems because the satellite receiver sends only one channel to the set at a time.
