Hilti quit carrying that screwgun around 15 years ago. Your best bet is to find used parts on Ebay or Craig's list.

Nail gun problem

This is a bottom fire tool. (NV83A2) You need to hold the trigger down and then as you place the nailer to the wood the safety will depress and it will fire once. This is usually done in one, swift action. If you do this in the opposite way by placing the tool to the wood and then pulling the trigger they often will double fire.

Are you mechanically inclined??? This is a little involved to do. First UNPLUG tool and remove the back section/trigger, there are about 6 screws holding the assembly to the back of the tool. REMOVE as an assembly. SQUEEZE trigger and PLUG into electrical outlet, while holding trigger unplug and reassemble, try this if light still on plug assembly in squeeze trigger and while holding the trigger unplug and retry. One if these should take care of resetting the light. If not the only other way is to send it to HILTI and have them reset it. Let me know if you still need more assistance and results.

Hilti says they cannot fix my t14. does anybody work on t14?

If Hilti tells you that they can't repair it I don't know of any source. You might check your local phone book under tools/repair for a repair shop but not too many people work on Hilti products. Have you tried calling their technical service/customer service also, 1-800-879-8000. That would be the final disposition I would think. Good luck

I need brushes for hilti UH 650

to my knowledge you can't buy hilti parts. they want you to send it to a service center. i work in a tool repair shop and we can't get parts. i would go to a shop that repairs tools and have a number of brushes and try to find one that will match up.

to my knowledge you have to send it to a hilti service center. you can't buy parts nor can a local shop buy parts for them. you may just have a loose wire or the switch you move to change direction may have come loose inside.

Hilti TE6A battery dril 36volts,trigger problems

what about the brushes. even if they arent worn completely down they sometimes will not have enough pressure on the commutator tabs to keep the tool running. if it works better upside down or sideways that is often an indication of faulty brushes. the springs that hold the brushes against the commutator may also be weakened to the point that they don't properly force contact. you may also have burned or blank spots on the commutator/armature.

try new brushes and make sure the associated wires arent broken, pinched or otherwise damaged. also clean the commutator with a polishing cloth or very very very fine sandpaper, being careful not to scratch, groove, or otherwise damage the tabs. also, the bearings that fit in the housing to stabilize the armature may be worn or seizing, which will cause the armature to move erratically and/or bind.

if all of these things have been done, and the problem STILL exists, then probably the motor itself (armature/field) is breaking down. the brushes and bearings at least are probably in stock at a local tool repair shop, and of course all parts can be purchased through hilti.

Slow te5

Bring it in to a factory service center. They will give you an estimate on how much it cost to repair it. Then you can decide to chuck it or not. Also hilti will give you a trade in for your gun if you decide to buy a new one.

Here is a link to find a service center in your area:
