You can make your profile cold boot persistent by following these steps. Create the profile. Once saved click on your wireless icon and select options. Scroll down to export. Select the export all profiles and press ok to finish creating the .reg file. Tech Support Barcoding Technical Support
this is because you are cold booting the unit. Everytime you cold boot a 9090 it re-sets all saved settings. When you have set up your wireless on your MC9090 you go to option from the radio Icon at the bottom right, and save and export the setting this is saved as a reg file. so everytime the MC is cold booted your settings are okay.
One less costly solution would be to purchase Honeywell batteries. It
has longer battery life than Symbol/Motorola. The other solution would
be to purchase freezer units for the areas that need it the most.
MC9090 has an operating temperature -4° to 122° F so you should be

In order to reset the device you will need to perform a cold boot. This will erase all temp data and reset all settings to the factory default it will not however erase any applications which have been downloaded into flash memory cards(assuming they're installed).
Perform a Cold Boot:
1. Press the primary battery release on the mobile computer to partially eject the battery from the mobile
2. On an MC9090-G, while the battery is partially released, simultaneously press and release the trigger and the
3. Push the battery to fully re-insert it in the mobile computer. One audible click can be heard as the battery is fully
4. The mobile computer initializes.
Once it has re-initialized all user data will be removed and all factory default settings will be restored, they should be ready to sell at this point.
The 9090 will continuously reboot when someone has cold booted it and has held the trigger down too long after the cold boot. What it's doing is looking for OS update files in the proper directory to do a system update. When it doesn't find them it just reboots again continuously.
To get out of this, cold boot it again but release the trigger right after you push in the battery.
