Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
Does it overflow when it is turned off? if yes you have a bad inlet valve
if no: you have either a bad pressure switch and or hole in the pressure hose.
You might have 2 seperate issues one for the overflow and one for the no spin/agetate.
we need to start with the overflow first though.
locate the 2 screws in the front left and right corners of the consol and remove them. pull the consol towards you and up.
you will need to flip the consol all the way back and rest on it's hinges.
next to the left of the consol you will see a component with a rubber hose attached to it. this is your pressure switch check for burned wires. be careful you might want to unplug the unit first though.
next follow the hose and look for hole or chew marks.
you can remove the cabinet by disconnecting the lid switch.
next locate the gold colored clips to the left and right of the cabinet. get a screws driver and push down and out on each clip to remove. the whole cabinet will come off now. examine the whole pressure hose. let me know if you need more instructions
