My desktop computer was working fine until a couple of months ago. It suddenly started randomly restarting and freezing. And it used to say no conductor 80 installed or something. I thought maybe because it has been about 4 years it was getting old. But I don't get it. Then suddenly a few days ago, I powered on my computer, and after windows Xp had loaded, it restarted. It kept on doing this and now I can't even get to my start up screen. I have so many important documents and I can't afford to get it fixed. Please help. It doesn't have a brand. But I know my hard drive is MSI. I would be so grateful for any feedback and help. I've tried for hours switching it onbut nothing changes. :(

How old is the battery & have you tested it? How is it that a month went by & your using any vehicle that could let you down? Why have all issues not been resolved ,as soon as they started? Have you checked for codes? Have you had a professional scan tool on it & checked data, that has to be done along with many other checks or tests, unless it's just a battery issue. No one can solve any vehicle issue over the internet There is always more to the story & you need the patient
Mine does the same. I don't know what it is. It's not that it's frozen up because every program I'm running continues to run and when I press the power off button it brings up the choices to turn off restart or stand by.
There are a couple of possible solutions. If the first does not work, try the next, and ultimately you can call customer service for Toshiba or the company you bought the system from.
First I would try to restart the system.
Second uninstall and reinstall software.
Third Check drivers and other software relating to the dvd player, or disc drives.
Forth to call customer service, there could be more complicated software issues or hardware issues at this point.
Make sure that your computer is malware/spyware and/or virus-free! =)
Also run ... msconfig (system configuration utility) then got to system tab > check hide all Microsoft Services > disable all
Go to Startup tab > click on disable all
Restart computer
If issue was solved, problem is software related (could be a program /virus /malware).
If the same issue occurs, run diagnostics since more likely than not , this could be a hardware issue. (You might want to send the pc to a service center)
what you did is OK for minor fixes. mostly for application error.
you need to format the hard drive and install the OS again in order the OS to work properly. you may have some file that is left over that is cusing the shut-down.
Sounds like it may be a backlight issue. Try using another monitor if possible and see if the same issue occurs. If it does, then it's the backlight in the monitor. If it's not this, it could be as bibleman01 mentioned a software conflict or an issue with the graphics controller failing.
The battery for the Insignia Pilot MP3 player appears to be available from Best Buy Parts Search for $41 plus shipping. Go the Best Buy Parts search website and search from the Model number of your MP3 player (which I believe is NS-4V24). Or you can call 1-888-BestBuy to order.
