Question about JVC GR-DVM5 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Possible fault in the display unit , either the LCD drive has failed or a pico fuse has blown inside.
Remove battery and insert after sometime and see if there is any signs of picture coming in and then getting blank. If so the display processing is faulty.
It will be better to get the camcorder checked by the JVC service for an estimation to decide.
