I have same problem. My phone will not power up past the Windows Mobile screen. Verizon wants to send me a new phone but that does not help me replace the several hundred saved phone numbers. Because I use an Apple computer the phone numbers are not synched up with my desktop computer. I really need to find a way to gain access to my contacts so that they can be transferred to a new phone. HELP!!!!

dude i have a similar problem. instead of it being froze on the windows screen, it is froze on the verizon screen right as you turn it on! i like this phone for its compact smartphone size but i have problems with my camera, and sometimes the phone freezes so i gotta remove/install the battery. i dont recommend this phone, 5/10 overall rating.

Well Verizon should be able to extract the address book from your current phoine to your new one at least that is what happened when I ditched my SMT5800 two days ago. Alll of my address book was moved over. Hope thishelps.
