1. Remove the body of the Fisher DCS-C60 and locate the location where the CD tray will get hold(this will usually make the warranty void)

2.Check for the gear are not damaged. There will be a belt which hold the belt to rotate properly.

3.Apply some white grease which is available in the market for some smoothness. It makes the gear easy to rotate.

4. If you look to the left on the underside of the tray there should be two flanges that snake in parallel with the front of the drive near the end of the tray.
Now look into the drive to the left and under the tray and look for a lever connected to the component that moves the disc motor and laser up into position.
This lever should run in between the flanges on the tray.

5. If this is the case then you have to remove the tray from the drive.

6. move the lever into position so when you slide the tray back in it goes in the slot on the tray.

7. Assemble the case and test the drive!

Notes: you may have to remove the plate with the disc motor on to get the tray out or force the tray out while holding the plate down.
The gears don't need to be aligned and the band to the tray motor doesn't need to be taken off.

Please check weather the motor rotates properly. If it does not work.you have to check for the wiring connection to the motor. If the motor is burnt or damaged please replace it.

If you don't have hand's on in it take it to the nearest service centre

How do I get a cd out of a cd rom that is jammed in but the drive will open?

There is a small pin size hole between the tray and the eject button. Push it with a paper clip and manually pull out the tray. 12e679d7-0444-4257-8340-46f126b73236.jpg

Pull the top off the unit. It's 6 or 7 phillips head screws. Two or three across the back, and two on each side. Pull the back of the top up first and slide it away from the front and then off. CD should be very easy to remove at this point. If you need further help, post a comment and I can help you more.

As I already printed several hundred CD/DVD the leading marker on the tray was badly marked. Tried to clean it with an eraser but I got very bad result. I tough I could paint it with some white paint but instead I use micro correction tape and white the marker. I had it working for 10 CD in a row, not bad for a cheap patch.

Where can I order a new CD/DVD tray

Deneon UD M50 - Tray jam

It sounds like the cd tray has been forced shut and has been damaged when you got the CD's out. If it was me I would of unscrewed the casing and retrieved the CD's that way instead of trying to force the try open which I'm assuming you have done.

It could just be a simple matter of just slightly adjusting the internal CD mechanism so that it can open and close properly without jamming. The error message comes up because the tray cant eject properly. The worse case scenario is that the CD mechanisam would need to be replaced. Not a hard job for a service engineer, if you dont fancy taking the thing apart yourself then a service centre is your best bet.

Cd tray jammed

If you turn it off at the mains, wait a few seconds then turn it back on. As soon as you turn the power on, try and press the button for the tray to open. If this dont work, you will have to open up your system and remove this disc yourself. Good luck.

CD malfunction

It sounds like you have put a disc in the tray that the system can not read, so it will just keep trying to read the disc over and over again. If you turn everything off by the plug and wait a few mins the whole system should stop. Put the plug back in and as soon as you turn your system on, try and press the disc open key before the lens gets a chance to start reading it again. If this does not work you may just have a disc jammed. So you will have to get someone to check it out for you if you do not understand what you will be doing, because you may do more harm than good to your system. Good luck.
