How do you check air conditioner fuses on a 2001 pontiac bonneville?

  1. Get a DMM (Digital Multimeter);
  2. Set the DMM to "OHMS" (any range, doesn't matter);
  3. Remove any fuse you wish to test from the fuse block on the car;
  4. Place the two probe ends from the DMM on the two terminals of the fuse.
  5. Read the display on the DMM. If you get a numeric reading (usually between 0 and 5 ohms), your fuse is good. If the DMM does not measure resistance (open circuit), the fuse is blown.

Tip

Safety concerns with car ramps.

Alot of people feel just a little bit uneasy when it come to getting under a car when on car ramps. A little trick is to drive the car on the ramps, put blocks, or wheel chucks behind the grounded tires. Then using a jack, jack one of the ramped tires up enough to remove its ramp. Reverse that ramp and then lower the vehicle down. It can't roll down the ramps because it is wheel locked inplace. Please though reverse that prcedure to drive it off the ramps.

Please note, I selected Chevy as the manufacturer only because 'any' is not an option

How to check scooter batteries

Remove the seat. Remove the cowling that covers the battery. Batteries should be accessible now. Use a Digital Multi- Meter or DMM. A simple battery meter will not take the 24v current. Set the meter on volt; at the 100 scale and read the meter. voltage output will read on the screen. How to Find Problems in 24 Volt Electrical System eHow Link is to page that explains how to use the meter to find your issue. If you have a 12volt system the procedure is the same.

True treadmill 850p e3 EEPROM code

Normally the E3 is problem with the sensor speed.
Use the DMM tester, and prove the sensor with some metal and connect the DMM, with the 2 wires from sensor, if the Dmm in continuity mode BEEP, the sensor is Good, If NOT beep, the sensor is Faulty, Replace.
Blessing.

I have a UPS 1000 VA with 12 V X 2 Battery, Problems: when we on ups input 200 V without load, it gives output 210 V. when load it gives 230 V on electricity. When Electricity cut off it gives 250 V. When...

arif qc, Are you using a DMM that is or will make "true RMS" measurements or is it an "average responding" type of voltmeter? Is this APC ups designed for 120 vac input/output or is this unit a 220 vac input/output type? Use only a "TRUE RMS" type DMM to make your measurements!!! I believe if you visit Tripp-Lite site, you will find a tutorial video clip of why you should use a true-rms meter to make measurements of output voltages. 12fixlouie

Dmm v twin

The manufacture has clearly defined that this device is designed for 8 mm to 10.5 mm ropes. This type of belay device works on friction, so by adding the extra thickness of a 11 mm rope, increases the friction on the device, thus heating it faster, and possibly taking it to premature failure. I have contacted the manufacture directly for their imput on this subject, and will update you once they respond.
