I have had no results from getting my coffee machine fixed. The water line is limed up, and no water passes through it to delime it, so it was cleared by hand, but it did not work when it went back together, so the machine has been scrapped.

Hi.

Water lines can be cleared through repeated cleaning cycles done with solution of water and citric acid or with specific cleaning product, it may take more than one day, but at the end the machine will be working again.

I understood that you have already asked a aolution to Fixya expert, but the machine was not fixed.

If you have any query related to your Fixya subscription, please write an email to [email protected].

The space here is onlyfor technical problems and relative answers.

Let me know if you need any further help.

    Hi.

Fixya has its own repair directory, but unfortunately it works only in the USA (Fixya is an US based company).

In Ireland there is a company that covers the whole territory, both Eire and Northern Ireland. Here their contact page.

Coffee machine every slow

Water discharge tube from heated tank is likely caked with mineral deposits. Bunn makes a de-liming tool for just such a problem.
Google "bunn deliming tool", or buy it on Amazon.

Lime in coffee pot

We recommend cleaning your machine with white vinegar for 2 hours and then using the metal deliming tool under where the sprayhead is located. IThen flush it out with 8-10 decanters of water. If this doesn't fix your problem, please call customer service at 800-352-2866 with the model and date code.

The water from my bunn nhbx , drips constantly when lid is closed or not and emptys very slowly when closed

This can occur when the machine has a lime build-up. I would recommend cleaning and deliming the machine and if this doesn't fix the problem, call 800-352-2866 for further assistance.

After the Bunn is done brewing it drips clear water for a while.

When it continues to drip, this generally means you have a lime deposit build up in the water tubing. To correct this, if you remove the sprayhead and insert the deliming tool all the way up the hole and twist and turn it 5-6 times, then flush with 2-3 decanters of water, this should fix the problem. If it doesn't, get the model and date code from the bottom of the machine and contact customer service.

Bunn perks coffee very slow?

This is generally an indication of a lime build-up in the water tubing. If you take off the sprayhead and insert the metal deliming tool into the water tubing all the way leaving out about 1-2 inches and twist it about 5-6 times, this should remove the lime deposits from the water tubing. Then flush out the machine with 2-3 decanters of water. If this doesn't fix the problem, then call customer service with the model and date code for further assistance.

Taste

Check your water supply lines if your unit is hooked directly into a water supply. Your unit either has to be cleaned (de-limed) or your water source is bad. You could try using filtered water, but if you have residue inside the unit it must be flushed with a professional delimer if white vinegar doesn't do the trick.
