Question about Cell Phones
The problem is fixed replacing a rather inexpensive TV board that contains switches and the remote sensor, and buying a replacement remote. The repair can also be done by a technician, price should still be affordable (about $120/$150)
Digistar TVs are built by Insignia, parts can be obtained contacting Insignia at the number listed on the owners manual.
Note: unplugging the TV may damage PSU, inverter and main controller boards, all parts that would be rather expensive to replace. Most Digistar flat panel have a switch at the back that can be used, even if I suggest not using the TV until it's getting repaired. At the moment you are only experiencing a minor fault that is definitively worth repairing , better not excalating the problem.
