You should be able to buy just the pin but it might be hard to get someone to order just the pin the shipping will cost more than the pin I recommend checking around local repair shops to see if they might have one in a junk machine

I have a consequent rb5 , bobbin thread is not feeding top thread, also needle keeps breaking off

First make sure you are putting in needle correctly, it has a flat side.
Insert a new needle into your sewing machine with the flat side away from you. Push the needle into the clamp until it touches the pin (a) and stops. Firmly tighten needle clamp screw with the screw driver.
if you find all the thread bunched up then look at your thread not being routed through all the the locations. Go slow and retread from beginning.

How do I replace the small metal bits that hold the needles in place

Needle clamp & screw and maybe the thread guide all screw together. The screw that holds the needle into clamp is all that hold this on the machine. Don't over loosen the needle clamp screw when changing the needle next time.

After replacing the needle in my singer 8280, the needle clamp is not holding the needle tight, the needle falls down even after tighening do i make the needle get fixed?

It sounds like you have lost the tread guide. When you press the clamp as far up as it will go, there should be a slot in the post underneath the clamp visible. You may need to use a mirror to see it. The thread guide snaps into that slot and keeps the clamp from falling down. Take it to any repair shop. It will not be expensive to repair.

My Brother XL5130 Needle Clamp Body felt out while I am sewing something. I do not know what is missing. I found 4 things in my hand Clamp Body, Pin,Clamp side screw & threads guide. some one plea

There is a hidden screw just that looks like a hole beside the screw that hold the needle... loosen it with # 8 allen key (pretty small) then you put the curved wire back in its hole, then you can put it back on the arm, then screw back the allen screw as tight as you can, this should do the trick worked for me ... I was tring for days to fix it back on but wouldnt go in...this invisible screw was to tight... Hope it helped !

The machine thread keeps breaking

try rethreading the machine
the top thread tension might be to tight
needle may not be inserted into needle clamp correctly
thread could be caught on something like--spool pin--notch on spool
needle may be damaged

My needle holder will not hold the needle in tightly what could be causing this problem?

The threads of the screw that holds the needle clamp could be stripped or worn.

The needle clamp can be replaced. You can get this from a sewing machine dealer who does the repairs or, order from the Internet.

Stretching a piece of Teflon tape (a plumbing product and not expensive) around the threads of the screw can provide a short-term fix.

My Husqvarna Huskylock will not catch the 3 thread overlock when sewing. I am sure it is threaded right. Hope you can solve this!

First thing to try is a new needle and make sure it is inserted into the needle holder all the way! There is a small opening in the needle clamp. Look closely at it when you're inserting the needle and you will see the top of the needle through that hole as it reaches it's top position. Also check the needle plate, are there 2 small needle like pins in the plate? If one of them has broken out of the plate, you'll have a hard time getting it to sew correctly. If it is missing one, you need to buy a new plate. If all of that is correct and it still doesn't sew properly (and you're sure it's threaded right), a trip to your service tech will be needed.
