Hi Raj,
you,ll find that you have 2 sets of cables.
you need to use a multi-meter tester, to find a continuity circuit of the speaker. If you don,t have A Meter try the red as + and every other 1 individually as A -.
If that does,nt work try the black with any individual.

Hope this helps, solve your Problem.

Mike.

I have the same problem with my unti shutting down f16 error, what do i do? panasonic should back there product and pay ta fix this. PLz get back. Thnk you.

im after looking evreywhere for a solution and all i keep finding is:

* ``the audio IC amplifier is damaged and needs to be replace which is cased by dust being inside of the applience``
.
* ``bad regulator for the power supply and needs to be replaced``.

*``RSN is also dammaged and needs to be replaced``.

(all repairs should be carried out by a qualified professionals. any DIY or non-professional work on any electrical items can result in serious health hazzords and even death)

all of which i have looked for from panasonic and even the model of stereo and they dont have the parts for it anymore and don`t seem to have a history of even selling the product! which means getting the parts are nearly next to impossible to get.if you know of any electrical shops that do electronical repairs they would be you`re best bet to try to fix it.they might know of a company who supplied panasonic with the parts needed to make the stereo,or even the next best thing.

please note
some research has also suggested on trying a annolog /fm antenna for radio staions.

no one is really quite sure what the error code f61 stands for but have made some suggestions to what it might mean just like what i have listed above these are only sugesstions that i have found in relation to the f61 error code and where fond on google search engine, youtube and panasonic website.and i am quite sure that even panasonic is not even sure themselves it may sound very funny but if it was the case there would be videos from them on how to fix it and even a downloadable pdf of the circutory board and where the problem lies !!!!!.

Just wondering if there is any way to hook an iPod (actually my iPhone 3GS) to my stereo (SA-AK57) somehow to play my songs??

only in stereo, there is not digital interface for this sound system, you need a 3.5mm jack to RCA lead (Head phone connector on end and a red and white phono connectors on the other) these connect to the Aux 1 or Aux 2 inputs on the rear of your stereo.

Panasonic SA-AK57 alignment of CD tray and disc changer

There is a particular procedure for rebuilding these units that must be followed to insure proper alignment. This procedure is available to authorized service centers only (as far as I know). Your only alternative is to purchase the service manual that contains this procedure from Panasonic.

Panasonic SA-AK57

The optics assembly is not detecting the disk. Sometimes this is due to the lens being dirty. These units are not the easiest to work on with out either experience or the manual. I would suggest that you invest in a service call to have the optics checked.

Panasonic SA-AK57 problem

Hi,
This sounds like a power disconnection problem.
you have a large amount of components, on the motherboard that charge up with being used. ( namely fets/capacitors et,c ) when your system is powering off the instant disconnection of mains power, can cause a Bang or Pop to the speakers.
I,d suggest trying swapping the speakers over from right to left and vice versa. see if the errors still there.
Also try turning the volume right the way down, before switching off. is the bang quieter ?
Check the mains cable ( plug end ) see if theres a broken or loose wire at the plu ( causing an arc ) finally check that the plug ( cable grip ) plastic tang that holds the cable, has,nt been overtightened and damaged the cable underneath it.
I hope any of this helps you to a self diagnostic rectification of the problem listed. Also try without speakers is a suggestion.

Sharp CD-C3800 won't turn on

Well now the first thing your gonna need is a vom. If you dont have one or dont know what that is then stop right here and take to a repair shop.. If you know how to use a vom the first thing you wanna do is measure the primary of the power xformer and check all the a/c fuses. Next make sure there are no mechanical switch to switch the ppower off from the power supply next try to measure the voltages comming fron the power supply and Im not sure whats supose to be where but a schematic should assist ya with the voltages. Good Luck

CODE F61

F61 tells you its a power source problem according to the manual. to all F61 error it is very likley that the str470-050a reg legs desolderd and have broken away from the main body of the regulator giving you the f61 and shut down.
